The HCV Guide is a practical and accessible tool for any person or health professional wishing to learn about hepatitis C.  Indeed, designed to be flexible, it can be read in the proposed order or by section. In addition, this clear and concise document aims to provide you with clear answers on hepatitis C, its modes of transmission, its diagnosis, its consequences on health, and the treatments available. In addition, it also aims to raise public awareness of the importance of prevention and early detection. So, whether you are a patient, caregiver or health professional, the HCV Guide will allow you to better understand this liver infection.

The current version of this guide is an update of the 1st edition written by Marjolaine Pruvost, project coordonnator, under the direction of Laurence Mersilian, general director. The document layout was done by Esteban Lara, communications manager.
