Training and Workshops

Our educational programs are offered through the DÉSIRS Alliance (Screen, Educate, Raise Awareness, Inform to Reduce Stigmatization), a partnership with the Quebec HIV/AIDS Portal (PVSQ) which aims to strengthen and update knowledge regarding HCV, HIV, and STIs with community workers, healthcare professionals, and correctional staff, as well as key populations directly.

About CAPAHC

On a provincial scale, CAPAHC positions itself as a reference organization for all those affected by HCV.

We offer training in hepatitis C specialized to destination professionals working with communities affected by the virus, as well as  social and prison interveners wishing to deepen their knowledge and improve their practice.

Our mission includes global health promotion through information programs, awareness and education. These initiatives aim to strengthen understanding of the disease and encourage preventive behaviour.

Thanks to our provincial and prison concertation committees, we maintain spaces for inclusive exchange with an extensive network of partners. Together, we fight against stigmatization and Let's advocate for actions to harmonize and improve service offerings., both regionally and in prisons, for people living with HCV.

Our resources, our specific tools, our workshops and our brochures for the general public allow us to reach a wide audience and diverse communities. Finally, as part of a dedicated project, we are also able to offer a comprehensive personalized accompaniment to guide people to healing.

CAPAHC is listed as a reference resource in the section: “Help, Support, and Screening Clinics” of the website of the Montreal Regional Public Health Department.
